Our students can help.
After learning several computer editing techniques to sharpen, crop, and rotate (amongst other things) pictures on computers, we consider ourselves pros at being able to take studio-like photos for still life.
Here are some examples that students worked on in about five minutes.

Schools Kill Creativity

We have a pulse!
We've been operating with no budget for the past six months, and have been scrambling to find money for equipment, let alone notebooks for our students to study photography and film. But yesterday, we received a plethora of goodies, including about ten cameras dating from 1909 - 1980s. After we inventory all the items, get owners manual or instruction booklets, we should be off and running with all things non-digital. We even got some chemicals to start our own dark room prints and reals.
It is unselfish donations like these that keep me wanting to teach photography and film to my students. Hopefully, we can post some pictures that we've taken with this equipment in the near future.
